12.5.08 - 12.8.08 - Christy signed the offical Plaguemines Parish Orange Festival posters. The painting received a winning bid of $5,000.

11.8.08 - Christy was at the Art Walk in Gretna selling posters and hand-painted slates.

10.2 -10.4.08 - Christy had a busy and successful weekend at the Gretna Heritage Festival. It was a close sell out and the painting received a winning bid of $8,000.

09.2008 - Christy unveiled the offical Gretna Heritage Festival painting at Omni Bank in Gretna, LA.

7.24-07.26.08 - Christy signed the offical Tarpon Rodeo Posters at the International Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo and had a sell out by the end of the weekend. The painting received a winning bid of $7,000.

6.26.08 - Christy unveils the official Tarpon Rodeo painting and signs the official posters at the International Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo event on Fulton Street in New Orleans.

5.7.08 - Christy unveils her newest paintings at a solo exhibition at the JW Marriott on Canal Street in New Orleans.

5.10.08 - The Gretna Spring Festival on Huey P. Long Ave in Old Gretna, Louisiana features many artists including Christy.

4.5.2008 - Christy released her latest custom jewelry creation.  Once again, she partnered with Georgette Fortino to create a unique silver piece based off of her original oil painting  "Love That Fleur de Bloom".
